Give yourself the gift of a stress-free morning with our mindfulness meditation course. The program includes mindfulness meditation techniques and deep relaxation in a safe environment. Starting at 9:30 AM with tea and coffee, the morning features quiet time, participant introductions, and mindful movement. Enjoy a break with tea, coffee and treats, followed by a relaxing body scan and breath awareness practice. The session concludes with a mind meditation, which may include walking, guided, or enquiry meditation. This course offers a peaceful escape to nurture your mind and body.
No prior experience is needed. Enjoy refreshments included in the course price. Claridge House is wheelchair friendly, ensuring accessibility for all.
Mindfulness Meditation Morning Sample Programme
9.30 – Day participants arrive. Coffee Tea available
9.45 – Quiet time 15 minutes silence to arrive
10.00 – Short introductions of participants
Mindful Movement outside if possible
11.15 – Tea & Coffee with cake & biscuits
11.30 – Body relaxation – body scan
12.00 – Breath awareness practice
12.15 – Mind meditation – this can be walking meditation when possible/ guided meditation /
enquiry meditation
1.00 – Departures

More About Our Tutor; Lina
Lina has long ties to Claridge House and been practising Yoga since 1975, gaining experience with Yoga teachers from different traditions. She has had extensive experience in teaching Yoga to seniors, adults, and to students with special needs such as MS and ME. She has been teaching Mindfulness with a unique slant from her experience of the Buddhist Tibetan and Yoga traditions, as well as Christian Mindfulness.
