Workshop description:
Willow weaving workshop – garden theme. Make a wind spinner and a garden obelisk for climbing plants.
Discover the beautiful craft of willow weaving in this friendly, relaxed workshop.
You will be taken step by step through how to create your own unique wind spinner and garden obelisk, learning a variety of weaving techniques throughout the morning. No previous experience of willow weaving is necessary.
All materials and tools will be provided, and you will leave with your handmade crafts to adorn your own garden or to gift to friends and family.
Please note that willow contains the same chemical as found in Aspirin. Therefore, it is not recommended for people with an allergy to aspirin without using gloves.
Willow weaving also requires a reasonable level of hand strength and may be difficult for those who suffer from arthritis.
Book your place now and enjoy a mindful and creative morning with nature.
Ask about booking lunch after the workshop for an additional £15 per person. Or you would be welcome to book a B&B night’s stay before or after the workshop to maximise and enhance your visit to Claridge House.
