Emotional Healing Weekend with Dugald Davidson

This weekend is open to anyone who feels ready to deal with their current challenges, those who are at the stage of wanting to leave the past behind but not quite sure how to go about it. At the end of the weekend you will have a clear picture of which actions you need to take in order to move forward.
Working in small groups and individually, we will uncover the (sometimes hidden) issues that are holding you back and preventing you from living life to the fullest. In the nurturing surroundings of Claridge House you will feel safe and supported to explore those aspects of yourself which are causing unease. We will gently release negative experiences and limiting beliefs using energy healing methods. Negative experiences create blockages in the body’s energy system, and so energy healing is a very effective way of clearing those blockages.
There will be periods of silence, individual work, group work, gentle yoga and visualisation , mindfulness and breathwork, and rest for the mind and spirit. Wholesome food will nourish the body.
Follow-up work after the weekend is a possibility.

Course Agenda:-
Friday evening
Group sessions before and after dinner, finishing the evening with a relaxing yoga session and visualisation to aid sleep.
Saturday
Gentle yoga session to help us to wake up, followed by breakfast.
The group will split in two for the morning and afternoon sessions. One half of the group will focus on more individual healing while the other half will learn coping strategies such as mindfulness and breathing practice. After lunch the groups will change over. There is an optional “free time” period in the afternoon, and we will take the needs of individuals and the whole group into account when deciding whether to take advantage of this. After dinner there will be a whole group session, followed with a relaxing yoga and visualisation session.
Anne Simpson, Claridge House course leader, will be on hand to lead the mindfulness and breathing practice on Saturday
Sunday
Group sessions, taking into account those who wish to attend optional Meeting for Worship, with a final short group session after lunch to sum up the weekend and to say our farewells.
The course outline will be flexible to fit the needs of the group.
