Please join us for a new beginning in every sense of the word as we release the weight of both past and future and be Present together in the heart and now.  Join us for a gentle yet profound Weekend of Meditation with Vinod Ravindranathan that will help set the course for the year to come.

12th Jan is the first full moon of 2025 otherwise called the Wolf Moon, or also known as the Moon After Yule in old Anglo-Saxon.   Full moon may bring intense emotions or perhaps you feel less social after December festivities.  No matter the why, January is an excellent time to focus on self-care and emotional well-being, to trust your instincts and pay attention to your inner voice. Use this time for you to gain peace and clarity, to make space energetically for the year ahead and to acknowledge your growth in the past year.  

Vinod Ravindranathan is a very experienced facilitator and will gently guide you through the weekend.  A meditation retreat leader (otherwise known as the Heart Team community) at Assisi Retreats in Italy, which is regularly cited as one of the best meditation centres in the world.  So rest assured, whether you are a beginner or experienced meditator you are in good hands. 

A Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) Teacher, he has also trained in Vipassana meditation at a Buddhist monastery in Thailand.  After a brief period working in the corporate legal sector, Vinod focused his attention on the non-profit sector working with migrant workers, refugees, transgender and sexual rights, mental health and the well-being of Carers. He has also worked as an animal campaigner. His retreats consolidate these various experiences, offering guidance on bringing together a busy life with meditation practices.

Above all – remember this is your weekend of self-care, a gift to you!  Be flexible – Vinod structures his retreats so you can engage as much as you wish or step in and out of meditation sessions.  You’ll have time enough to schedule a massage, reflexology and/or Reiki session, go for a winter walk, journal etc., and meditate … as well as allowing Claridge House to support and nurture you with our nourishing food and warm hospitality – you will leave replenished on every level.
