Join Lies and Lucy for their Breathe & Move weekend retreat
November 27th-30th at Claridge House Retreat Centre.
There will be a Forrest yoga practice each morning and a more relaxing practice
in the afternoon/early evening with either a yin or restorative practice every evening and
a Nidra (aka yogic sleep) or sound healing before bed.
Forrest Yoga was created by Ana Forrest with the intention to help heal physical and emotional
tension and pain. The style is Hatha-based in that there is attention given to breath,
holding poses for a longer period of time, enabling the student to feel into their body with breath and awareness.
Although a very physical practice, there is always an internal focus in class.
Breath and strength are key elements in every Forrest class. It challenges, yet also is an extremely rewarding practice.
There are beautiful walks in the area and the most gorgeous vegetarian food from Lucy’s Ladle.
