Inside, the house offers a peaceful, friendly atmosphere where guests can unwind, enjoy nourishing meals, and take time for themselves. A stay in May provides a gentle sense of renewal and a comfortable pause before summer begins. Relax and unwind at our restful retreats in the peaceful space of our Victorian House, surrounded by the beauty of a two-acre garden. Retreat days feature activities and nourishing vegetarian food to nurture your mind, body and soul. Claridge House is designed for deep rest, healing, and renewal, offering friendly service to create your haven for holistic well-being.
Our dining room serves comforting, home-cooked meals, baked goods and refreshments as part of your stay. Claridge House is wheelchair friendly, ensuring accessibility for all. Check in time for our retreats is 3pm and check out is after breakfast by 10am on your final day staying with us.
We require a minimum two-night stay for our personal retreats to experience their full nurturing benefits that can be extended to three or four night full board. You are welcome to add a BnB night or two instead.
Of course, everything is optional here at Claridge-You’re welcome to take part in as much or as little as feels right for you. This is your time to use in the way you most need. If settling in with a good book or finally giving attention to that long‑awaited craft project is calling you, simply find a cosy spot and enjoy.
Check in time for our retreats is 3pm and check out is after lunch at 2pm Sun-Thurs, or after breakfast by 10am on Friday.
