Tansy is delighted to combine these 2 passions to offer a beautiful morning that will leave you feeling deeply grounded, calm and at peace with yourself and the Nature around you.
You will discover that QiGong and forest Bathing have beautiful similarities and synergies that work wonderfully together.
ABOUT QIGONG we focus first on our own nature, coming into conscious awareness and connection with the body through gentle mindful movements and breathwork that allow you to flow with your own Qi (energy) and connect with the Qi of Mother Nature.
ABOUT FOREST BATHING – the Japanese term is `Shinrin Yoku`, the meaning of this is to bathe in the atmosphere of the Forest or a place of Nature and does not refer to any physical kind of swimming or bathing.
The Japanese began Forest bathing back in the 80s and today there are forest bathing guides all over the world guiding people back in to Nature to find peace, deep relaxation, connection and meaning. The practise has been subject to avast amount of research and has been scientifically proven to be effective support for mental health illness and physical/emotional health and wellbeing too.
